Fernanda Atayde obtained her master’s degree in Veterinarian Medicine at the University of Évora in Portugal, graduating in December 2022. She always had a passion for reproduction in horses, which fueled her academic pursuits and career aspirations. Following her graduation, she pursued her interest by joining ISME Avenches (Swiss Institute of Equine Medicine, Vetsuisse Faculty University of Bern) in February 2023, where she currently is undertaking a doctoral thesis focused on equine reproduction.
