Federico graduated from the University of Milan in 2005 and completed a two-year internship
before entering the European College of Veterinary Surgeons residency program in 2007, becoming
a Diplomate (ECVS) in 2013 and obtaining the GPCert (SASTS) in 2018 and GPAdvCert(SurgOnc)
in 2024. He has extensive clinical experience in soft tissue, oncologic, and minimally invasive
surgery at Clinica Veterinaria Nervianese, where he has worked since 2006. He is an active
international speaker and instructor in soft tissue and minimally invasive surgery, author of book
chapters, and contributor to peer-reviewed indexed journals. He has held major leadership roles,
serving as President of SCVI – Italian Society of Surgery (2017–2021), President of SICMIVItalian
Society of Mininvasive Surgery since 2022 till now, and President of SCIVAC-Italian
Society of Veterinarians with more than 7000 people (2022-2025). He is also a member of several
international societies, including VES, VSSO, and ISFGS, and served as Assistant Professor at the
University of Zurich in 2018–2019.
